Backstory

Turned into a voidsent from merging with a braindead reaper avatar, he kept his mind and morals intact, but obtained great powers of darkness. He was manipulated and trained by the voidsent ‘Kronos’ to carry out her unspecified revenge scheme, before unintentionally consuming her when she tried to possess him. He journeyed to Eorzea and was later cleansed of all malign influences, though he still remains a voidsent physically.

• Highly intelligent, charismatic, and sometimes manipulative. He is easy to get along with, but much of this is all trained into him, rather than being genuine.• Possesses a startling capacity for violence when allowed to engage in real combat unhindered.• Fiercely loyal to his friends and associates, his love and appreciation for them is real, and there are no atrocities he would not commit to keep them all safe and happy.• Secretly fightsexual, he loves getting gritty in an all-out brawl, but loses matches often due to forcibly restraining himself.• Has a very unusual sense of fashion, preferring neon pinks and purples as compliments to black, frequently donning leather garments, and gelling his hair.

Backstory

Though he keeps the exact location of his homeland a secret, it is known to be somewhere in Shaolaani in Tural. When innovations began filtering into the small Hhetsarro community, it was expected that Bido would take over duties as leader of his small faction.Unfortunately for his grandmother, who hoped that Bido would one day take over leadership duties and provide lots of great-grandkids, Bido was very gay since birth, and continues to be. As such, Bido ran far away, and does his best to never mention his clan, using his survival instincts and exemplary assets to forge his own (homosexual) path in life.

• A fan of birds, with an Tuliyolalan Quetzal named ‘Pecker’ that he has trained to follow him around.• Can be mischievous and playful, and also tends to sometimes get people into trouble (including himself) with ideas that go very badly because he is overeager.• Horrible at gambling, and he has a startling propensity to lose his clothing at times.• There’s really not much else, this guy is incredibly vanilla, so please ruin his life.

• His main form of combat involves an extremely large metal hammer that probably weighs a ton, which he swings around with skill.• Likewise talented with a bow, he is a skilled hunter, and fighter even without arrows.• He has some bardic talents but not those to the extent of what’s found in Gridania. He simply knows how to sing and play musical instruments.• He knows enough basic conjury to use wind and water spells, claiming his homeland is rich in the element of earth. He is not a dedicated healer, but he can use enough of the basics to be a healer in a party if need be.• Physically strong but by no means superhuman, he is simply more physically robust than a typical Tia, bordering that of a Hyuran Highlander.

Originally born during the 5th Astral Era, he was a practiced voidmage who sought to create the 'Tír na nÓg' research outpost within the void, but was opposed by a sect of fiends known as the Fomorians. He lost his hand in battle with the voidsent Sreng, and lost his leadership position to a demon-possessed former friend named Bres.When news of the imminent flood became more pressing, Nuada strangled Bres to death and led his allies to make use of special coffins to wait out the rising tides in suspended-animation. Only Nuada survived the deluge, emerging in the modern era as a relic of a bygone age.

• Somewhat twitchy and paranoid, he prefers to be left alone to study voidsent in peace.• Highly protective of his identity, he wears a plain white mask to cover his face, and uses a memory charm to flummox anyone who catches anyone without it.• Though private and sensitive, he is a kind and caring soul willing to go to great lengths for the protection of the star.• Often accompanied by a very sassy familiar.• He speaks the ancient Mhachi language, but has translation spells to assist until he can learn Common.

• Talented with magics, capable of performing advanced thaumaturgy, though he tends to avoid using it given the harm it did to the star previously.• Has a 'history' with several voidsent from the Fomorian sect, such as Sluagh, Lennan Sidhe, and Balor.• Uses Garlean reaper arts, but won't share where he learned the practice. His pacted voidsent is a Jester that also acts as his familiar.• Has a Mhachi artifact for just about every situation. In truth, even today he's maintained a means to visit the 'Tír na nÓg' research outpost, which has an entire repository of Mhachi devices and weapons, many of which he sells to collectors.

Backstory

Born and raised in Everkeep, he fell in love with the wrong person, a tall hyur with white hair who became violently obsessed and abusive towards Shock. This hyur, Reelah, constantly pushed Shock further with his electrope experiments, before one day vanishing. After a brief period of peace Shock became extremely ill and he began seeing his former lover’s face everywhere he went.With assistance from Tsuki, he was able to discover Reelah had implanted their own soul into Shock’s body in an effort to forever be ‘united as lovers’. Shock began seeing Reelah everywhere, and adapting some of their personality traits. Any time he showed too much emotion, Reelah would take over and drive others away, or kill them.

• Generally emotionless and expressionless with some people saying he’s robotic.• Periods of heightened emotion cause noticeable changes to his persona.• He is often polite but quirky, and seemingly paranoid around people with white hair and large statures.• His personality is a big letdown sometimes.

• High intellect and creativity with access to a singularly unique electrope cube.• Able to merge this cube to his weapons, vehicle, or himself to alter their shape and function. This is generally used for research applications, but as great potential in combat.• Fights using interchangeable electrope weapons, which can shift in form to suit his needs, though he is only practiced with a very small number of them.• Physically adept enough to bokh Devi at least, but he does not rely on his strength it merely aids him in movement.• Has an artificial heart which, if exposed to levin energies, may cause him severe pain. Which is a problem given all of his weapons are electrope based.

Backstory

Born in Doma before the occupation, his father was one of the retainers to Lord Kaien. However, his father abandoned his post during the rebellion costing the lives of many people, and forever shaming the Kang family. Though Daegeun's father was eventually put to death by machinations of the Viceroy, Dae's spirit was broken, and he became a wandering exorcist and ronin.Sporadically throughout his life however, Dae was pursued by a strange ghostly figure he referred to as "The Onryo" which would slaughter and kill anyone who because too aware of its presence. Hoping to escape the Onryo, Dae fled to the west hoping it would not follow. He was not so lucky.

• Polite and honest for the most part, and a little bit over-curious. (Maybe even a little bicurious.) He is a big man with big emotions that he wears on his sleeve• Staunchly loyal and determined to prove his worthiness. He is a devotee of the Kami, with his greatest praise being given to Benzaiten and the Great Auspice Byakko• He refers to himself as a ‘White Tiger’ in honor of his chosen Auspice• Friendly but secretive. He does not raise his voice and remains fickle but polite• In certain combat states he becomes a lot more wild and ferocious• I once did a personal /random roll to see how good he could cook and in one try I rolled a 999/999 with witnesses. So I will never let anyone forget that Daegeun Kang is a heckin' Eorzean Gordon Ramsey

• Reasonably talented with eastern martial arts, and a passable swordsman. He was never formally trained, instead relying on katana techniques inherited from his father.• Has ninjutsu training, due to studies with the Tora clan, though they relied less on stealth and more on brute strength.• Owns a gunblade crafted using Ala Mhigan rubies. He had to answer several riddles to get his hands on those rubies, and it wasn't fun at all. He's competent with the weapon, but he doesn't rely on it.• Capable of using magic but not great at it. Most of his spells are debilitating in nature, inflicting Blind, Sleep, and Paralysis rather than damage.• Training with the aforementioned Tora clan allowed Dae to enter an Arcanist Trance known as 'Tiger Trance'. The trance envelops him in a thin layer of transfiguration aether which enhances his strength, speed, and senses. It also gives him cute cat ears and a cat tail.• Dae has a special piece of auracite on his necklace that lets him summon an incarnation of Byakko. Though the Auspice exists for real in Eastern Territories, the figure Dae summons is a primal much like how Ysale was able to summon Shive, but remained protected by the Echo.• Dae also has the echo, which is what lets him use his Tiger Trance and Byakko form without lingering results, aside from the immense aether cost.

A gigantic Xaela who was trapped in Yasulani when the Alexandrian Dome dropped. He learned the arts of Pictomancy and stayed young due to a voidsent pact.

Backstory

After living a life full of curses and aetheric maladies, Devi went on vacation to Yasulani and ended up trapped for 30 years. A pact of immortality with a voidsent kept him young, but the conditions inside the Everkeep helped to correct his former fire aether imbalance, and gave him enough time to pursue a medical degree. Ever imaginative, Devi has taken up Pictomancy, but mostly enjoys the life of a retired father and medical professional.

• He’s freakin’ gigantic, like at least 11 feet tall, and built like the hulk. We don’t ask how he and his husband ‘make it work’ but Tsuki seems quite pleased and content.• Cured of an imbalance towards fire, but doing so required Ice and Levin, leaving him more than capable of casting Thaumaturgy magics, but starved for Conjury magics. As a result healing spells are overly effective and tend to be like energy drink infusions.• Keeps alive ‘ye olden’ Xaelic traditions, and will never say no to Bokh, even though he is way too big to bokh effectively. He makes an intimidating opponent, but a slow one.• Adapted to life in Solution 9 to the point where he is no longer accustomed to living without modern conveniences.

• Has some skill with Pictomancy, picked up from being a Sugar Riot fanboy.• Very large and physically strong, but compensated for by a significant lack of speed and dexterity.• Still remembers his skills of Eastern Style exorcisms and purification, which he has been practicing and improving ever since.• A licensed medical professional, but doesn’t often get to help heal people on account of not fitting through the door.• A consummate dad with all the traditional dad skills, including knowledge of technology taught by his husband, how to grill, and how to make terrible jokes.

Backstory

Born in poverty, with what she describes as 'less than nothing', Akemi was an oprhan on the streets of Kugane with so few opportunities, there were some weeks where she had to catch and eat rats to survive. She grew up with an uncompassionate mentality, and was sold to a brothel when she was just barely old enough to work there. Her first 'real' client was a repeat customer who physically abused her so badly, Akemi eventually choked him to death with his own obi.Vowing she would never again be used in this manner, she reinvented herself as a higher-class courtesan, learning the arts of music and poetry. Intended to do whatever it takes to survive, she became a member of the Matsuba-Gumi, occasionally working in neutral-ground brothels to expand her network of contacts.

Backstory

Conceived during a blood ritual amongst wealthy Ul’Dahn elites, his soul before birth was traded into the service of a fire-aspected voidsent named Belial, in exchange for his family’s continued affluence. Serving as a constant ‘feedbag’ for Belial led to Savan being raised weak and often sickly, but fiercely combating his condition with an extreme physical wellness regimen. Recently Savan discovered the secret of his family’s sinister deal and has made it his goal to see them all put behind bars, and the demon slain.
